BBQ Challenge
Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) Sanctioned Colorado State Championship Event!
Join us as Master Cookers from throughout the US converge on Douglas County to prepare their mouth-watering specialties, in hopes of impressing the judges and walking away with more than $8500 in cash prizes and bragging rights! Some of the best BBQ Cook Teams in the country will be competing this summer at the Rocky Mountain Freedom Festival - you could be one of them! Boasting more than $8500 in prize money, the Inaugural Rocky Mountain Freedom Festival BBQ Competition is sanctioned by KCBS and is a RMBBQA Cup Event held in Castle Rock, Colorado, on July 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2011.

Selling Teams
For those competitors that would also like to sell their BBQ or other products, we welcome you. But we do limit the number of BBQ vendors to 10, so if your are interested in selling, please get your application in quickly.

Judges
Quality competition means quality judges and Rocky Mountain Freedom Festival BBQ Competition will be using KCBS certified judges. There will be 84+ certified BBQ judges evaluating our competitors. If you are interested in judging, official applications will be available by March 1, 2011. First-time judges will be required to attend a KBCS certified class and we can let you know when classes are being held.

| Saturday July 2, 2011 8:00am – Judges Registration 9:00am – Judges Meeting 10:00am – OPEN TO PUBLIC 12:00pm – First Turn-in (Chicken) 4:30pm – 5:30pm - Awards Ceremony [All vehicles in the Competition Area must be moved by 7:00am Sunday to clear for fireworks. We invite you to stay and enjoy the festivities.
